Great to meet you!

I've spent over a decade working with people who are fighting battles most people don't talk about — addiction, eating disorders, dual diagnosis, and the anxiety and depression that come along for the ride. I'm not here to give you a five-step plan. I'm here to be the person who genuinely gives a damn about what you're carrying. I've learned a lot from the great therapists, yoga teachers, and people in recovery who shaped my own life — and my whole purpose is giving that back. I also teach yoga, which means I don't just talk about mindfulness — I live it. Morning, evening, and weekend slots available. Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, and Carelon accepted.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic view — meaning I pay attention to your thoughts, your emotions, and what's happening in your body. My go-to approaches are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), but I'm not rigid about it. What works for you is what matters. I've been teaching yoga with a recovery focus since 2013, so I bring a real somatic lens to the work — not just theory. We'll figure out what fits together as we go.

What you can expect from me

Honestly? Not as scary as you're probably imagining. First sessions can feel like a job interview you didn't prepare for — so I intentionally keep them light. We'll talk about what's been going on and what's brought you here now. I'll take notes, ask some questions, and mostly just listen. I go at your pace. Some people share a lot. Some people share a little. Both are completely fine. Expect warmth, maybe a Taylor Swift reference, and zero judgment. My only goal for session one is that you leave feeling like this might actually be worth coming back to.
