Great to meet you!

I'm an experienced clinical psychologist with a flexible, welcoming, integrative therapeutic approach. In a respectful, trusting, collaborative setting, we'll access your innate vitality, curiosity, and capacity for growth and healing so you can develop adaptive solutions to painful, confusing, repetitive patterns and situations. Accompanying people on their therapeutic journeys is a privilege. Empathy, sensitivity, patience, lightness, and humor are essential in this rich work.

My approach to therapy

My relational psychodynamic approach is enriched by extensive training in trauma, AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), emotion-focused, integrative mind-body modalities (mindfulness, SE, and other experiential/somatic therapies). I also have a public mental health specialty in national/international human rights and social justice issues. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and work with people of all ages and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

People bring varied and complex issues to therapy, so I have training and expertise in many areas: trauma and abuse; depression, anxiety, self-esteem, loneliness; creativity and the arts; school and work; relationships and sexuality; eating and food issues; grief and loss; illness and pain; aging; LGBTI and alternative lifestyles; and immigration and acculturation issues.
