Great to meet you!

I am a licensed, board certified and registered Clinical Art Psychotherapist and business owner to my private practice. I've practiced Psychotherapy/Art Therapy for over 32 years working with inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adult clients with issues including anxiety, depression, physical disabilities, medical and chronic illness, bipolar, ADHD, grief, divorce, social-emotional struggles, family conflict, and ASD. I've been a past board member of the New York Art Therapy Association for over 18 years and have received both the Pam Clark and Honorary Life Member Award. I have training in Art and Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Reiki, Drama Therapy and Sign Language. My Master's Degree is in Creative Art Therapy and have worked in numerous facilities with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions.

My approach to therapy

My approach offers a humanistic, integrative and out of the box approach to meeting the unique needs of each individual. I often incorporate art, writing/words and play in the treatment process in the hopes to offer a healthy, safe, and expressive means of communication and healing. My approach offers a positive, creative and even fun avenue to self-discovery and self-expression, while still upholding clinical and psychodynamic principles.

What you can expect from me

I will ensure you that I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and put you at ease in order to explore any of your concerns. We will partner together in your treatment to come up with the appropriate goals and objectives. I am here to listen with an open heart with kindness and warmth.
