I'm and independently licensed social worker in the state of Massachusetts since 2019. My main focus has been working with adults through many phases of life. Much of my work has been in addictions and currently focusing on anxiety and depression in adolescents and adults.
My approach starts with finding out the motivations for treatment in a warm, participatory frame that allows for helpful rather empowering self-talk that is solution focused.
I learn about your story, what has been tried before and what expectations are of therapy. With participation we uncover realistic goals and uncover the should have, could have, would have thinking and other barriers to making progress in a safe environment.
