Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Deborah Auguste, LPC. After a successful career in engineering, I followed my calling to become a counselor and earned my Master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Addiction Counseling from Crown College. I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and hope by providing a warm, supportive, and culturally sensitive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, addiction, and life transitions using practical, evidence-based approaches tailored to each person's unique needs. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process. As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I enjoy helping couples strengthen communication, deepen their connection, and build healthy, lasting relationships.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe, heard, and respected. I take a collaborative approach, using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while tailoring treatment to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I also help couples strengthen communication and build healthier relationships, and I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and the goals you'd like to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin developing a personalized treatment plan that builds on your strengths and provides practical tools to help you move toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
