Great to meet you!

I'm happy that you reached out for help, which takes courage and strength. I am Deborah Balliett-Veley, a licensed independent social worker/licensed clinical social worker (LISW/LCSW). I have spent many years working with adults and families through various life stages and issues, in-person, online, and through a counseling center.

I am a graduate of Wilmington College (BS, Psychology), the University of Cincinnati (Masters in Social Work), and the University of Phoenix (Masters in Business Administration)

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic approach to therapy, preferring to tailor the approach to fit your needs. I am a compassionate and empathetic listener who will work closely with you to develop rapport and help you express your thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a lot about you sharing your story and establishing goals for treatment. In future sessions, we'll work towards accomplishing those goals together. You’re welcome to reach out whenever you’re ready for a free consult — we can talk about what you’re looking for and see if working together feels like a good fit.
