Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with people who are open to learning new ways to improve self-awareness and further their emotional development. Greater insight and acceptance of ourselves, helps us to feel more confident and improves our ability to identify and nurture healthier relationships. Awareness of the connection between our thoughts & feelings increases our ability to communicate more effectively with others, to live a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

Combining CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with a self calming strategy called Mindfulness. To create a solid foundation for identifying & achieving therapy goals. Think of your emotional development similar to Zen gardening; pruning away unhealthy branches to allow healthier buds develop into a richer and more beautiful abundance of blossoms! DBT is also integrated when a client needs to develop skills to better negotiate interactions between emotion & reason; so to improve stress tolerance.

What you can expect from me

Our first goal will be to help you identify what you would like to get from our sessions together. We all possess qualities and talents that we have not fully recognized. Too often our self-doubt and anxiety limits our ability to achieve our fullest potential. Personal evolution involves identifying, understanding negative beliefs that create self-limiting barriers to growth. This results in greater emotional clarity & decision making; helping you to live a more authentic & rewarding life.
