Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Deborah Berkley, and I have provided mental health services as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 30 years. During these years, I have been privileged to work with children, adolescents, and adults in the school, outpatient, clinic, and community settings. As a clinician, I believe the therapeutic relationship to be sacred, and have the utmost respect for anyone seeking mental health support. Afterall, it takes great courage to walk through those doors or make that call, and that courage must be valued.

My approach to therapy

I have been told my style is collegial, respectful, and judgment-free. We each have a life path, a unique journey filled with meaning and purpose. At times, and for many reasons, we veer from our chosen path, and recognize we could benefit from the support, understanding, and direction of a mental health clinician. While my multiple graduate degrees and many years of practice have prepared me for most challenges faced by my clients, I specialize in working with all types of trauma.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be affirmed, as it is vital to appreciate our strengths and successes as we tackle indecision, regret, fear, or a pain-filled past. As I have said many times over many years, the greatest gift one can give their therapist is their own healing.
