Great to meet you!

My name is Deborah Ebrahemi and I am a LCSW in the state of CA. I received my MSW from USC in 2013 & have been primarily supporting youth, young adults and parents from all backgrounds of life since then. I specialize in working with adolescents, families, young adults, postpartum parents and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, school stressors, parenting stressors, life transitions, postpartum, and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of modalities depending on the needs of my clients. These modalities include Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Culturally-Sensitive, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, Compassion-Focused and Mindfulness-based therapies. I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy combining relational work, psychodynamic exploration, somatic focused, and behavioral exercises.

What you can expect from me

For therapy to be most effective, you must be an active participant both during and between sessions with tools and techniques learned.
