Hi! I am a semi-retired therapist looking at the best way to be creative and connected to life. Since Covid, I have been working almost exclusively on line, and have found that on-screen therapy meets the needs of many people who may have obstacles to seeking in-person therapy. My graduate degree is from Georgia State University, and I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings over the years. Would love to chat with you and see if we might be a good fit.
I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, and addiction (adults only). I tend to use EMDR along with Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have found these work well together to address many issues that bring people to therapy.
Our first session will be a general "get to know each other" session. I will get more history on what brought you to therapy and what you might hope to get from it. Follow up sessions will depend on your goals. We will explore your personal history and traumas, and decide together what direction therapy should take.
