Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in central New York State. I have been working with clients and families for more than 25 years. I earned a Master’s degree in Social Worker from Syracuse University and have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Wells College. I utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapies. I hold a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am experienced with assessing and treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attachment and other problems related to relationships.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a partnership. My role is to help clients identify and gain insight into their specific situations and to explore new, different ways to think and respond. This can provide a platform where clients can use knowledge gained in therapy to implement new skills.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create an environment where clients can feel safe and accepted without judgement. We will work together to identify what brings them to therapy, what they would like to work to change and if there are any underlying mental health concerns to address. The client will leave the first session feeling that I listened deeply and there is hope for a path forward.
