I earned a Master's from the University of Southern California in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently licensed in the state of Georgia as a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families on coping with feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression. I have a background in athletics and also work with individuals struggling with anxiety and enhancing their athletic performance.
I believe it is important to meet every individual where they are at so I utilize a person centered approach to tailor every session to meet the client's unique needs. Every individual has a rich story that influences how they cope with everyday stressors and together we will discover how and why they cope the way they do and how to improve their daily functioning.
Clients can expect to be heard and validated. They will leave the first session having an understanding of what has led them to seek out therapeutic support and have a clear picture of what they would like to accomplish throughout the process.
