Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I work with adults who are navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, or seasons of feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and used to being strong for others, but feel worn down doing it all on their own.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices, but I don’t believe in forcing a rigid method or checklist onto your experience. Instead, I focus on understanding your story, noticing patterns, and helping you build insight and tools that actually fit your life.

The relationship we build in therapy matters to me. Feeling safe, respected, and genuinely heard is often what allows meaningful change to happen. Sessions tend to be thoughtful and reflective, with space for both emotional depth and practical clarity.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a low-pressure conversation focused on getting to know you and what’s brought you to therapy. You don’t need to have a perfect explanation or know exactly where to start — we’ll take it one step at a time. We’ll talk about what’s been difficult, what you’re hoping for, and what support might look like moving forward.

You can expect a calm, welcoming space where you’re not rushed or judged. My hope is that by the end of the session, you feel heard, a bit more grounded, and clearer about whether working together feels right for you.
