Great to meet you!

I am a highly experienced and patient-centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in Kentucky. With a deep commitment to my patients' well-being, I bring a wealth of both professional and personal life experience to every session, ensuring patients feel cared for and respected. My expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, PTSD, and substance abuse. Having worked extensively in both inpatient psychiatric settings (at Eastern State Hospital) and outpatient telehealth/medication management (at LifeStance Health), I possess top-notched compassion and communication skills to develop positive therapeutic relationships. I strive to help my patients restore their dignity, confidence, and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My philosophy is rooted in helping patients see the positives in themselves and in life. I believe in working collaboratively with patients to provide hope and strategies that enable them to overcome obstacles and grow beyond their present challenges. My professional experience includes developing personalized treatment plans that combine medical diagnosis, medication management, and counseling, with referrals to outpatient therapies as needed. I am dedicated to ensuring both the patient's recovery success and their medical safety.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a comprehensive overview of your physical and mental health history. I will conduct a thorough evaluation to establish a medical diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan. This initial conversation is built on therapeutic conversations and active listening, allowing us to collaboratively develop strategies and practical solutions for your well-being, confidence, and a better quality of life.
