Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a strong foundation in healthcare, having previously worked as a registered nurse and case manager. Throughout my nursing career, I saw firsthand how deeply emotional and mental health challenges impact overall well-being, which ultimately led me to transition into therapy.

I work with children, teens, and adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I also have experience supporting individuals through complex experiences such as medical challenges, parenting stress, addiction, and identity shifts.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy, tailoring each treatment plan to meet your unique goals and needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy, and I am trained in EMDR for trauma work.

I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on building rapport and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of the process, while also giving you space to share at your own pace.

This is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my style and approach. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for next steps.
