Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in nursing, mental health, and ministry. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related disorders, and emotional burnout in adults and older adolescents. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that considers the whole person—not just symptoms. While my treatment is grounded in evidence-based psychiatry, I also recognize the important roles that lifestyle, relationships, and personal values play in mental wellness. For clients who desire it, I am happy to thoughtfully incorporate Christian faith into the treatment process.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care begins with listening. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, lifestyle modifications, and attention to factors such as sleep, nutrition, and stress. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and centered on helping clients understand the underlying contributors to their symptoms so they can experience meaningful, lasting improvement. My goal is to equip you with the tools and support you need to move beyond simply managing symptoms toward genuine healing and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is designed to help us get to know one another and develop a clear understanding of what brings you to treatment. We'll spend time discussing your current concerns, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, strengths, goals, and any factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss available options—including medication when appropriate—so you leave with clarity about the next steps. My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and encouraged that healing is possible.
