Great to meet you!

I pursued my doctorate degree to deepen my ability to support clients through meaningful, effective therapeutic work. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Certified Trauma Therapist with specialized experience working with individuals impacted by psychological trauma, first responders, and forensic populations. I am equally committed to the development of the next generation of clinicians and enjoy teaching and providing supervision at the University of Pittsburgh.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I strive to create an environment rooted in compassion, acceptance, and empowerment, where individuals feel safe exploring areas of concern. Using a client-centered approach, I support clients in identifying their inner strengths and accessing the agency needed to create meaningful change. I also incorporate psychoeducation to help clients better understand their experiences and develop a clearer sense of what is happening for them.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave therapy feeling more empowered, grounded in self-acceptance, and aware of their inner strengths. Through our work together, they often gain a more positive perspective and a clearer understanding of what they have experienced.
