Great to meet you!

I obtained my doctorate degree so that I could help my clients the best that I could. I am a licensed Professional Counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and a certified trauma therapist. I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced psychological trauma, first responders, and forensic populations. I also enjoy inspiring and training future therapists through teaching and supervision at the University of Pittsburgh.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In therapy, I strive to create an environment of compassion, acceptance, and empowerment for individuals to explore areas of concern. This client-centered approach enables clients to find their inner strengths and access the agency to facilitate their desired changes. I also use a lot of psychoeducation so that my clients can get a better understanding of what they are going through.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to leave therapy with a sense of empowerment, self-acceptance and awareness, they can take a more positive attitude, and a greater understanding of what they experienced.
