Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University and have had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in a variety of behavioral health settings, including several years providing telehealth therapy.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where we can work together to better understand your concerns, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you feel more confident and fulfilled.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating supportive therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based techniques, psychoeducation, and compassion-focused interventions. Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences.
I work with adults and older adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, trauma-related symptoms, and adjustment difficulties. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and improved well-being.
