Great to meet you!

Loving someone who struggles with addiction can quietly take over your whole life. You worry constantly, you smooth things over, you set a boundary and then talk yourself right out of it, and somewhere along the way you lose track of your own needs. If that's you, I understand it in a way that goes beyond training. Alongside my years as a counselor, I've spent more than two decades in the Al-Anon community, and I work with adults who are worn down from caring for, worrying about, or trying to fix someone they love. You don't have to keep carrying it alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in family-systems thinking. So much of what exhausts us comes back to boundaries, so together we'll work on what it looks like to love someone without losing yourself in the process. I'll help you understand the patterns you've been living in, set limits that actually hold, and reconnect with what you need and want. There's no judgment in my office, just steady support from someone who genuinely gets it.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other and what brought you in. You'll share what's been weighing on you and what you're hoping for, and I'll listen for the bigger picture underneath it. There's no pressure to have it all figured out, or to share more than you're ready to. By the end, you'll have a feel for how we'd work together and a sense of where we might begin.
