Deborah Ryan

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After completing the Master of Social Work degree at Adelphi University in 1994, I began practicing therapy. In addition to providing counseling to patients through Headway, I have experience practicing in outpatient clinics, non-profit agencies, and private practice.

My strengths are client-focused therapy utilizing a variety of modalities to assist a client in meeting goals including CBT, DBT, supportive counseling, positive psychology, relaxation strategies, mindfulness strategies, and coping strategies.

Therapy is tailored to the individual's needs and there is a teamwork approach to helping a client achieve goals.
