Great to meet you!

I started my career in the helping fields right out of high school. I was a classroom assistant working with children living with severe and profound disabilities and their families. I became a teacher and spent a great deal of time with my students’ families. I developed a strong curiosity around family of origin and social justice influences on family and individual perceived potential and limitations. I

My approach to therapy

I blend narrative and Bowen theory together to explore a person’s sense of self and functioning. I apply CBT techniques to “news of difference” to gain insight and influence on how one perceives oneself and identify steps toward person centered goals with the understanding that the goals are fluid as one increases self-understanding.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect an empathetic and compassionate partner to explore family of origin; current stressors; and relationship concerns. We will create strength-based goals to help a person moved toward his/her/they personal best.
