Great to meet you!

Greetings!

I look forward to working with you and being that change agent you're looking for. I have a Doctorate Degree in Social Work and I'm a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Masters Addiction Counselor (MAC) with over 30 years of experience working with individuals (14 years old-up) who have challenges with addictions, depression, stress management, grief and loss, and relationship concerns, just to name a few.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with individuals is a non-judgmental approach, with compassion and empathy, open-minded, and being a good listener. I like to work from a solution focused perspective, stages of change strategy and meet the individual where they are so that the appropriate treatment and interventions can be provided to bring about change and awareness.

What you can expect from me

During your initial session we will get acquainted with one another and I will learn what's bringing you into counseling. The initial session will allow me to complete an assessment; you will establish goals for treatment and develop outcomes based on what has caused you to seek treatment. From there we will schedule the next appointment for the following week and assess at the second session how often we will meet.
