Great to meet you!

I’m someone who truly listens and strives to meet each person exactly where they are. My style is adaptive, reflective, and flexible. I bring authenticity, compassion, and a good sense of humor into my work because I believe that laughter and honesty can be just as healing as insight. I was inspired to become a therapist by my own desire for the kind of support I would have wanted, and I aim to offer that same understanding and care to my clients. People often describe me as warm, genuine, and empowering. I am someone who helps them feel deeply heard and supported while encouraging growth in meaningful ways.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a wide range of modalities—including attachment-based work, CBT, solution-focused strategies, motivational interviewing, grief work, strength-based approaches, family dynamics, birth order, generational influence, and harm reduction. I value empowerment, perspective, curiosity, humility, and empathy, and I see myself as a referee, a guide, and sometimes the person holding the flashlight so clients can see what’s already within their reach. My work is collaborative and flexible: I help people change what can be changed, and when something can’t shift externally, I support them in transforming the way they understand and respond to it.

What you can expect from me

In a first session, clients can expect a thoughtful mix of history and present focus. I gather context to understand the bigger picture, while also making space for whatever is most urgent or pressing in the moment. I help clients feel at ease by acknowledging that life is hard and by being clear that my intention is always to support them in getting what they want out of therapy. I offer structure and outline a path forward, but I’m equally comfortable adjusting course if that better serves the client. Most people leave with clarity about what’s happening and where we’re headed. I work as hard as clients are willing to work for themselves, and I keep a sense of humor in the room since life is challenging enough without setting it aside.
