Deborah Steele

Hello,

My name is Debbie Steele and I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years. I am certified as an Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapist and love to work with married couples who are struggling to stay connected and safe in their relationship. I teach counseling at Gateway Seminary and have a Ph.D in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

I counsel from an attachment perspective to better understand what happens between family members in order to help them reconnect. I also help people understand how their childhood trauma impacts their current relationships.

I try to create a safe, caring and connected relationship in order to transfer these skills into the lives of those I counsel.
