I am an ANCC certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I began my career as a nurse in an inner-city emergency department, then a Family Nurse Practitioner in that same emergency department. I have seen people in crisis and in the worst circumstances you can imagine. By becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am able to take that love of helping people to a different level. My strengths are my commitment and work ethic.
My approach to medication management is to listen to the client and understand what they are saying. Each person is different and unique, and no approach fits all. The most important aspect of any treatment is individualistic in nature with a patient centered approach. I am here to guide you to where you want to be. Together we will formulate a plan that is right for you. My clients are not just a number. Everyone should have the care they deserve.

If anything, my clients can take away from session with me that I listen to their concerns, their experiences, and their goals. No two people are the same, nor will one mental health plan work for every single client. I want my clients to know you will be heard with empathy and respect.
