Great to meet you!

Hi there — I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Deborah (Debbie) and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a heart for holding space where healing, self-discovery, and personal transformation can take place. I believe that therapy is not just about coping — it’s about becoming.

With over three years of experience as a therapist and a background in mental health leadership, I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity issues, life transitions, self-worth, and trauma recovery. I am especially passionate about supporting those from culturally diverse backgrounds, providing care that honors your story, your voice, and your truth.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Behavioral Health. I’ve worked across both agency and private practice settings, and now I’m honored to serve through my own practice, Guided Grace Behavioral Health — a virtual space created for people who are ready to do the inner work in a safe, intentional, and inclusively sensitive environment.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to continue your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Let’s reclaim your peace, your purpose, and your power — one session at a time.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, affirming, and collaborative — blending evidence-based techniques with a holistic, person-centered lens. I incorporate CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based tools, and strength-based strategies that meet you where you are. Therapy with me is both grounding and growth-focused — we’ll laugh, we’ll dig deep, and we’ll celebrate your progress together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel seen, heard, and safe in our work together. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to shrink, explain your existence, or feel like a diagnosis — but instead, feel empowered to reclaim your story and honor your full self.

In our sessions, you’ll gain:

  • Clarity about what you’re feeling and why
  • Practical tools to manage emotions, set boundaries, and navigate stress
  • A deeper understanding of your patterns, values, and inner strengths
  • Permission to unlearn what no longer serves you
  • And the confidence to show up in life as your most grounded and authentic self

You won’t just walk away with coping skills — you’ll walk away with a greater sense of who you are, what you need, and how to move forward with grace and power.
