When anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or major life transitions make it hard to recognize yourself, therapy can become a place to reconnect with your strengths and begin moving forward again. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or disconnected from the life they want to live. You may be struggling with overthinking, low mood, trauma responses, relationship stress, or difficulty coping with daily pressures. I strive to create a safe, supportive relationship where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I offer compassionate, individualized care and work with you to set meaningful goals based on what you want to change, improve, or understand more deeply. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and focused on helping you build practical tools for healing, emotional regulation, and long-term growth.
I use an integrative approach that combines person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based stress reduction. This allows therapy to be tailored to your unique needs, preferences, goals, and life experiences. CBT can help identify and shift negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and self-doubt, while DBT supports emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier coping skills. IFS helps explore the different parts of yourself that may be carrying pain, fear, shame, or protective patterns, and mindfulness helps you become more grounded in the present moment. Together, we work to better understand what is keeping you stuck, strengthen coping strategies, build insight, and create meaningful change that carries into your everyday life.
My goal in the first session is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing what has been weighing on you. We’ll explore your current concerns, whether that includes anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. I’ll help you reflect on what has been challenging, what you want to be different, and what healing or progress would look like for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and shaping a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and supportive of your pace. I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and encouraged, with a clearer sense of direction and hope about what comes next.
