Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience in the social work and mental/behavioral health field.

My career includes successfully assisting clients in all life stages. I address issues from life purpose concerns, insecurity, stress, destructive patterns, relationships and co-dependency, anxiety and grief to assisting clients in planning and navigating life transitions such as, but not limited to, a career change, marriage/divorce, and the aging process by utilizing my counseling, life-coaching and case management skills.

I am more holistic than clinical in my approach to therapy. This approach encompasses the whole person including mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and social perspectives. Working holistically facilitates greater healing by integrating all facets of who we are individually and collectively.

I approach each client prepared to design a powerful and proven combination of these techniques designed specifically to the situation as each life-path is totally unique.

I am passionate about offering a safe, open, non-judgemental atmosphere which is necessary for building a trusting, therapeutic relationship.

If you desire to change the patterns in your life, the stories you live by that no long serve you, overcome anxiety and depression, have someone work with you from a holistic perspective, as well as look at next steps in your career and personal life, I can support you in fulfilling those desires and goals.

My approach to therapy

Techniques include Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, Rogerian Therapy and Meditation.

What you can expect from me

I engage from the perspective that each one of us already have the answers we are seeking. It is often helpful to have a supportive partner assist us in finding those answers. That is my part in our relationship and I treat that honor with respect and care. Speaking about goals and outcomes, I suggest both evolve throughout our work together as each individual is unique and establishing goals/outcomes is a collaborative effort.
