Great to meet you!

I am currently accepting new clients and specialize in crisis support, trauma, adjustment disorders, anxiety, and depression. With over 35 years of clinical experience, I work with children, adults, and seniors across a wide range of concerns, including relationship challenges, identity development, cultural and ethnic issues, and women’s and family-related concerns.

I have spent my career supporting individuals through periods of crisis, life transitions, and ongoing emotional challenges. My approach is grounded in creating a respectful, culturally responsive, and supportive environment where clients can feel understood and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and informed by extensive clinical experience. I focus on helping clients better understand their experiences, process difficult emotions, and develop practical strategies to navigate challenges.

I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation, resilience, and improved functioning. My goal is to provide both structure and support while helping clients move forward in a way that feels manageable and aligned with their goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I will gather information to better understand you as a whole person, including your background, current concerns, and what is bringing you to therapy at this time. We will also discuss your goals and what you hope to gain from treatment.

This session is an opportunity to begin building rapport and determine how we can work together effectively. There is no expectation to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
