I relocated to Florida from Ohio where I received my master's degree in social work. have been working primarily in Florida's healthcare field supporting individuals and families across the lifespan as they navigate the challenges of chronic or life limiting illness. My areas of specialization include maternal mental health, grief and loss, women's issues, anxiety, depression, stress management and faith-based counseling.
I focus on strengthening the individual or family to better understand and enable oneself to make changes to improve life challenges and restore hope. For those interested in faith-based counseling we will explore biblical principles as they relate to everyday stressors.
First session is spent getting to know each other, and to make sure we are a good fit to continue with ongoing sessions. Freely sharing feelings and fears in a supportive and safe environment.
