Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am a licensed mental health counselor who has worked in the field for over 15 years. Most recently, I have focused primarily on treating anxiety and depression, often brought on by stressful life events. I hope to employ a warm, compassionate approach which will enable people to grow and achieve positive goals in their lives. Furthermore, I have 3 children of my own so I understand the challenges one faces as a parent, as well as the struggles our youths face today.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Debbie uses a person-centered approach to counseling, while utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques. When dealing with severe anxiety, Debbie will employ exposure response therapy in order to reduce and eliminate symptoms.

What you can expect from our first session

Debbie hopes to provide a safe place for clients to share and explore whatever their goals may be for therapy. Together, Debbie works with the client to help discover and treat each person's unique emotional needs.
