My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with listening, understanding each person's unique experiences, and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I take the time to understand your concerns, goals, strengths, and challenges while working with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports your mental health and overall well-being. I use a holistic, evidence-based approach that incorporates medication management, patient education, and shared decision-making. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in your care. Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or ongoing management of a mental health condition, I am committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care to help you move forward with confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we will begin to understand your mental health concerns, personal history, and treatment goals. I will take time to listen to your experiences, discuss symptoms, review relevant medical and psychiatric history, and answer any questions you may have about treatment options. The initial appointment includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand your unique needs and develop an individualized treatment plan. We will work together to identify goals, discuss evidence-based treatment options, and determine the best approach to support your mental health and overall well-being.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
