I’m a LMFT with over 8 years of experience working in county mental health, Child Welfare Services, and couples counseling. My background has equipped me to help individuals and families navigate a variety of emotional and relational challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and conflict resolution. I also have specialized experience working with the LGBT population, offering an affirming environment to address identity, relationships, and mental health concerns.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working together to explore their challenges and strengths. I emphasize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood.
I bring a culturally competent, trauma-informed lens to my work, particularly when supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. My aim is to guide clients toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of well-being.
I focus on helping clients develop practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, and conflict, as well as improving communication in relationships. By working together, clients often gain new perspectives, increase emotional awareness, and build healthier coping strategies.
Ultimately, my goal is for clients to feel empowered, equipped with the skills to handle life’s challenges, and more confident in their ability to foster personal growth and positive change.
