Great to meet you!

All you want is to quiet that voice that says you’re not “doing enough" or stop overthinking long enough to actually enjoy your life. You’re used to managing a lot, like school, work, relationships, or the many changes of motherhood. And even when things look good on the outside, it’s hard to shake the feeling of anxiety; if you relax, you'll start falling behind.

If this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Dee Keller, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and board-approved supervisor in Virginia with over 12 years of experience helping women and young adults navigate anxiety, perfectionism, and big life changes.

Many of the women I work with are juggling so many plates, and while there is a lot that you can feel grateful for... it's exhausting and overwhelming, and very common to feel incredible doubt you aren't doing enough.

My work focuses on helping you feel seen and supported while finding ways to release the inner critic and anxiety. Whether you’re entering a new chapter (starting college, changing jobs, becoming a parent, or redefining your identity after kids), the therapy space we create together can be one of your tools to help prevent, reset, grow, or heal.

My approach to therapy

My clients often tell me things like, “We just click,” or “You’re so easy to talk to.” I take that as the best compliment—because therapy works best when it feels real, human, and even lighthearted at times. I bring warmth, humor, and curiosity into our sessions to help you feel comfortable enough to slow down, reflect, and access your own wisdom.

My approach blends practical strategies (like CBT and DBT tools) with mindfulness and internal awareness, so you not only understand what’s happening but can also feel it shifting in your day-to-day life. Whether we’re unpacking old patterns, challenging perfectionism, or learning how to actually rest without guilt, we’ll move at a pace that feels grounding and doable.

I see therapy as a space for honest conversations, shared insight, and growth that lasts—not quick fixes or endless to-do lists. Together, we’ll help you reconnect with your confidence, intuition, and the calm you’ve been craving.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me feels like a genuine conversation with someone who you can relate to. You can expect warmth, curiosity, and space to just be...without judgment or pressure to show up in a certain way.

I work best with clients who are thoughtful and self-aware but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking or self-doubt. Our first session will help us get to know each other, explore what’s been weighing on you, and begin creating a path forward that feels both grounding and hopeful.

Together, we will find a path forward that leads to fully believing in your capabilities and honoring your needs. You have worked hard to get here; it's now time to enjoy the life you've built.
