Hello! I am DeEdra Powell LMSW, LCSW licensed in the state Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors in Communication and a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2016. I have spent the last 15 years of my career working with children and families in the child welfare system helping to mend families while treating the individual. I have a wealth of knowledge in issues related to parenting, attachment, substance abuse, trauma and child development.
My counseling style offers compassion, understanding and engaging dialog, which allow us to process through whatever problems you may be facing. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and dignity because that is what you deserve. I am here to offer guidance, reflection and truly walking with you along your journey.
