Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I earned two Associate degrees, a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I once thought I wanted to be a teacher, but a classroom full of 30 kids quickly showed me that it wasn’t quite my lane, lol! Instead, I found my calling in psychiatry, where I’ve spent nearly 25 years caring for and connecting with patients.

My approach to therapy

My nursing experience before becoming a Nurse Practitioner has given me a unique perspective on mental health care. I’ve seen firsthand how patients respond to treatment and how the right medication, combined with support and understanding, can make a meaningful difference. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and working together to find an approach that feels comfortable and right for them.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other while creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel heard and understood. We’ll discuss what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, medications, history, and goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan and review your options. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and ready to move forward with a plan we can adjust together.
