Deidre Green

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with more than 25 years of experience in medical and behavioral health care. My career has spanned community-based organizations, acute care hospitals, reproductive health settings, and student mental health. I earned my MSW from the University of New England and currently work as a Lead Social Worker at Adventist Health, where I specialize in quickly building rapport and helping people navigate complex health and life circumstances. I work with adults via telehealth with evening and weekend availability. My practice is grounded in a strength-based approach: I believe the people I work with already have the capacity to heal, and my role is to help them access and build on it.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I have worked with diverse populations across many settings, and I bring that depth and range to every session. I am not interested in telling people what to do with their lives. I am interested in helping you understand what is getting in the way, identifying what is already working, and building from there. I show up honestly, and I work best with people who are ready to participate actively in their own care.

I am building my practice gradually and with intention, which means the people I work with get my real attention. I offer evening and weekend availability via telehealth in California. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
