Deidre Green

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience across medical and behavioral health settings. I currently serve as a Lead Social Worker at Adventist Health and also work with college students at a community college, providing mental health support, crisis intervention, and care coordination. My background spans hospital, home health, and community settings, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, end-of-life care, bipolar disorder, substance use, and chronic health conditions. I provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients. I offer telehealth sessions in the evenings and on weekends throughout California, making care accessible for clients who work during the day.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, grounded in a strength-based philosophy. I believe you already have the capacity to heal and grow, and my role is to help you identify what is getting in the way and build on what you already have. I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and behavior management, always tailoring the approach to your specific situation and goals. Whether you are navigating a chronic illness, supporting a loved one at end of life, working through anxiety or depression, or simply need a steady, non-judgmental space, I am here.

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and for me to understand what has brought you here and what you are hoping for. I will listen without judgment and make sure you feel genuinely heard from the start. From there, we will figure out together what support looks like for you.
