My approach to therapy

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Frum-Vassallo has served at the VA, specializing in the intersection of physical health and mental wellness. Her therapeutic approach is evidence-based and multifaceted, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindful Self-Compassion, and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session clients can expect to be listened to in a non judgmental space. We will get to know each other and see if the therapeutic space feels comfortable and collaborate to plan for treatment. I often come up with resources for clients to look at afterwards such as Ted talks, poems or podcasts.
