Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 27 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges.

My work is informed by a strong clinical foundation and decades of experience working with diverse populations and life circumstances. I integrate evidence-based practices with a personalized approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I partner with clients to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and foster lasting emotional growth.

I value authenticity, curiosity, and the therapeutic relationship itself as central to the healing process. Whether clients are navigating stress, transitions, long-standing patterns, or emotional pain, my goal is to help them gain clarity, resilience, and a greater sense of balance in their lives—while honoring their lived experience and capacity for change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experiences. I believe therapy works best when it is a partnership—one where clients feel safe, heard, and actively involved in their own growth. I work to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore concerns openly and honestly.

With over 27 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my work is informed by both evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and relationships. I tailor therapy to each individual rather than relying on a single method or formula. Together, we focus on identifying patterns, strengthening coping skills, and building insight in ways that are practical and meaningful for daily life.

I value authenticity and curiosity in the therapeutic process. I aim to meet clients where they are—whether they are seeking relief from stress, navigating life transitions, or addressing long-standing emotional challenges. Therapy may include reflection, skill-building, and gentle challenge, always paced according to each client’s needs and readiness.

Ultimately, my goal is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence, while honoring their strengths and capacity for change. Therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about helping them reconnect with their values, resources, and sense of possibility.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and uncertain. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to begin building a foundation for our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

During our first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy and what you are hoping to gain from it. I may ask questions about your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past. This conversation helps me understand your needs and allows us to begin identifying goals for therapy.

I will also explain how therapy works, my role as your therapist, and answer any questions you may have about the process. We’ll review practical details such as confidentiality, scheduling, and how online sessions are structured, so you know what to expect moving forward.

Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard. You are not expected to have everything figured out. Therapy is a process, and the initial session is simply the first step toward greater clarity, support, and change.
