Great to meet you!

I am excited to tell you about myself! If you are a teen or an adult, I would like to be a part of your journey towards making changes and understanding yourself better. I have a passion for working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal mood disorders, substance abuse, and grief/loss.

I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University in 2012 and my Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University in 2016. I have had a range of different experiences before entering private practice. I worked in a school system, in a hospital-setting, in community mental health, and with the Department of Child Services. These different experiences have helped me understand individuals from all different perspectives and helped me learn it is important to treat each person in therapy as unique. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified in Perinatal Mental Health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, inviting, and insightful. I use a variety of integrative and holistic approaches with all clients. I like to meet clients where they are and provide a safe space to explore struggles, discover strengths, and guide in self-discovery and personal growth. I believe that clarity and ease can come from connecting the mind, body and spirit. I utilize various mindfulness techniques to help clients gain insight in the mind-body connection, regulate emotions, manage challenges, and better understand themselves. I’m here to offer compassionate support and evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique experience challenges and better understand themselves.

What you can expect from me

My hope is clients walk away from sessions with some insight on how their experiences have impacted them. Together we will work to develop tools to help you build resilience and manage difficult emotions and stressful situations.
