Hi, my name is Deirys and I am looking forward to assisting you on your healing journey. I am a bilingual English/Spanish speaking clinician. I have 10 years of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in areas such as trauma, abuse, domestic violence, stress and anxiety, depression, adjustment/transitional issues, work related stressors, relationships and family.
My approach is client centered, warm, humorous and empowering. I like to meet my patients where they are at. I utilized modalities such as strength based, CBT ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic, mindfulness techniques, trauma informed and holistic approaches.
The goal is to re-experience yourself in new ways. Life is too short to not experience the best version of yourself. To be free of bad relationships, emotional pain, anxiety, anger, to not let trauma control you. I want to guide you to be able to live life on your own terms and to learn to navigate your feelings and experiences in the healthiest way possible.
