Congratulations on taking this first step. I have 20 years of experience working as a social worker. Before receiving my clinical certification, I mainly worked with relationship issues and those diagnosed with chronic physical illness. In addition to providing therapy, I can provide community resources and case management services as a Certified Case Manager. Together, these credentials allow me to offer a more holistic approach with more solutions.

My counseling experience focuses on caregiver fatigue, adapting to life-changing illness, coping after organ transplantation, and relationship issues. I use various techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I can also offer a Christian-based approach to counseling, should you desire.

Our initial appointment will consist of an in-depth psychosocial assessment to determine your needs and goals. Should we choose to work together, it will be a collaborative process. My goal is to provide a supportive space for growth. Openness and honesty are quintessential to your success. Therapy is a process and not always easy, But it is the first step in the right direction.
