Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Delashawn Kemp. I am a licensed therapist in California with 12 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & depression. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I encourage clients to play a role in actively developing treatment goals from a supportive and non-judgmental perspective. My focus is on a Humanistic Psychology approach, helping clients to reach their potential based on what is important to them.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the client is the expert of their story and that they have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I use a limited directive approach and encourage clients to play an active role in developing treatment goals based on the current situation.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy being a part of a profession that is able to assist with making a positive change in people's lives. What drives me to do this work is being able to know that I am able to be there for others when they need support. It inspires me to see people gain the tools they need in therapy to help them reach their goals.
