Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client's needs, helping you explore challenges, recognize patterns, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and hold a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health. I work with children, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, and challenges with self-worth.

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational. When desired, I also incorporate Christian faith and spirituality into therapy.

My goal is to provide a compassionate, safe space where you can make sense of your story, discover your strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. Together, we explore your experiences, recognize patterns, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools for meaningful change.

I tailor therapy to each client's needs, goals, relationships, values, and life experiences. With children and families, I use developmentally appropriate and expressive approaches, including play therapy when appropriate.

My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard and understood while gaining greater self-awareness, confidence, and freedom to move forward.

Therapy is a process of making sense of your story, discovering your worth, building freedom, and creating the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, and identify your goals. We’ll explore your experiences, strengths, and current challenges while beginning to develop a plan that fits your needs.

You don’t have to have everything figured out or share your entire story at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Most importantly, you can expect a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
