Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in high-acuity clinical settings, which shaped my calm, steady, and practical approach to care. I earned my advanced nursing education with a focus on evidence-based psychiatric treatment and have worked with individuals across the lifespan.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions. I work with adults, young adults, and parents who are often juggling a lot while trying to hold it all together. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth—I value clear education, thoughtful medication management, and care that feels realistic and supportive, not rushed or one-size-fits-all.

I’m honored to have been recently featured in Voyage Houston, where I shared a bit about my journey building The Psychiatry Society and why meaningful connection in care matters to me.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in both evidence and empathy. I believe treatment works best when you feel heard and involved in the process, not talked at or rushed. I take time to understand your goals, your experiences, and how symptoms show up in your day-to-day life. Together, we build a plan that feels manageable, flexible, and aligned with your values—focused not just on relief, but on long-term stability and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding your full picture and beginning care planning together. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your history, and what matters most to you right now. I’ll walk you through options, answer questions, and involve you in each decision. By the end of the visit, we’ll have a clear, collaborative plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your goals.
