Great to meet you!

I work with children and teenagers who are navigating the real, hard stuff, anxiety that won't quit, ADHD that makes every day feel exhausting, anger that comes out sideways, or a sadness that's hard to put into words. I'm a licensed professional counselor based in Georgia, and I show up to every session as someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people. I don't do stiff or scripted therapy. I meet kids where they are, and I make sure they feel heard before we ever talk about "working on" anything. For parents: you'll always know what we're working toward, and I treat you as a partner in your child's progress, not an afterthought.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques, but what that really means in practice is: we figure out what's actually going on, then build tools that work for that specific kid's brain and life. CBT helps young clients catch the thought patterns that are fueling anxiety, anger, or low self-worth. Mindfulness gives them something to do with big emotions in the moment. And solution-focused work keeps sessions from feeling like we're just cataloging what's wrong, we spend real time identifying strengths and small wins. I adapt constantly. What works for a 10-year-old won't work for a 16-year-old, and what works for a kid with ADHD looks different from what works for one navigating depression.

What you can expect from me

I am genuine and passionate therapist who empowers clients to re discover their voice, inner strengths and to live life unapologetically. Expect a low-pressure conversation, not an interrogation. The first session is about getting to know each other, I want to understand what's been hard, what's been tried, and what the family hopes things will look like on the other side. For younger children, I'll often spend part of the session with a parent and part directly with the child. For teens, I'll talk with them one-on-one and let them drive how much they share early on, trust takes time and I respect that. By the end of session one, we'll have a shared sense of direction. My philosophy is that therapy and change your life it you let it.
