Great to meet you!

I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients are invited to make sense of their experiences in a way that feels authentic to them. Rather than directing the process, I focus on creating a supportive environment where individuals can speak openly, reflect at their own pace, and gain insight into their thoughts and emotions. In the midst of busy and often overwhelming daily life, having intentional time to pause and look inward can be a powerful part of personal growth.

Creating room for reflection can open the door to new perspectives and a deeper awareness of internal experiences. As clients begin to better understand their emotional responses and patterns, they often find greater clarity in how they relate to themselves and others. This increased awareness can support more intentional decision-making and help guide the next steps in their personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My work is guided by an integrative approach, drawing from relational theory, attachment theory, affect regulation theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed counseling. I tailor these approaches to align with each client’s unique goals, needs, and lived experiences.

I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including youth, teenagers, young adults, adults, and older adults (ages 4–70). My clinical work has included supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups. I have worked with people who are differently abled, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming environment where all clients feel respected and understood.

What you can expect from me

I support clients in strengthening skills that can enhance their day-to-day lives and overall well being. This may involve developing healthier ways to manage emotions, improving interpersonal communication, setting and maintaining boundaries, and building strategies that align with each person’s goals and values.

As a counselor, I aim to bring warmth, empathy, and understanding into each session. I believe people grow best in environments where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely accepted. My goal is to meet clients where they are and partner with them in working toward meaningful change, while ensuring they feel heard and valued throughout the process.
