Great to meet you!

I always thought I wanted to be a pediatrician. In college, I came to accept that science classes were not my academic interest or strength. I transferred to a smaller college and followed my interests. Therapy was part of this process and the place I found my purpose and passion for psychology.

I love being a psychologist. I feel privileged to have people share their lives with me as they journey to address challenges. I aim to help clients feel safe as they face obstacles and make changes.

My approach to therapy

I consider my approach to therapy eclectic. My primary lens as a therapist is Cognitive-Behavioral (I believe a person's thoughts impact their behavior and feelings). Other theories and approaches used in my work include: Positive Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Relational Psychology, Family Systems Theory, and Physiological Psychology.

I take a whole-person view of the issues my clients bring to therapy and work from a strengths based perspective as we navigate treatment goals.
