Great to meet you!

I am a native of Puerto Rico having obtained a MS a Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Forgiveness, gratitude and self-acceptance support a healthy mental life also practicing effective anger management, strategic problem solving, anxiety-reduction, and lifting of depression.I also serve my country as part of the Army National Guard. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, watching documentaries and exploring my interest in acting.

My approach to therapy

Some approaches I implement include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to understand your thoughts and feelings, Motivational Interviewing to encourage autonomy and Solution Focused to increase problem solving techniques.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy exploring your full potential with a goal-oriented mindset because sometimes we struggle to recognize the effects of our big emotions. With an approach such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I will provide you skills that you can use to navigate through changes. Working collaboratively with you to ensure feelings of safety, validation and provide ongoing support.
